Cardiovascular disease is responsible for nearly one in three deaths in the United States. Learn from doctors at UCF Pegasus Health, the physician practice of the College of Medicine, how you can “Live Smart for Your Heart” in a special event on February 27 at the clinic.
You’ll hear about the risk factors of heart disease and how they differ in men and women. Learn simple strategies that can result in big health improvements – from eating blueberries to enjoying small amounts of alcohol. And review common misperceptions for staying healthy (i.e., not everyone should take low-dose aspirin).
Panelists will include:
- Abdo Asmar, M.D., Nephrologist & Hypertension Specialist
- Analia Castiglioni, M.D., Primary Care Provider
- Bernard Gros, M.D., Cardiologist
Registration & Light Refreshments begin at 6 p.m. with the program beginning at 6:30 p.m. Space is limited. To reserve a space, go to LINK.
