About the Program
UCF Health’s Lifestyle Medicine Shared Medical Group Visits are a clinically proven approach to managing chronic conditions through sustainable lifestyle changes. Led by Dr. Sharon Wasserstrom, MD, a board-certified Lifestyle Medicine physician, these sessions combine individualized medical attention with the support and motivation of a group environment.
Lifestyle medicine focuses on evidence-based behavioral interventions, including nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, and social connection to prevent, treat, and often reverse chronic disease.
6-Session Series
A structured curriculum designed to build skills progressively. Each session builds on the last, covering a new pillar of lifestyle medicine.
Shared Medical Visits
Each session counts as a real medical visit, covered like any group medical appointment and led by a licensed physician.
