Hepatitis A is a highly contagious liver infection that has taken the lives of three Florida residents within the last month. While the disease can be fatal, it is preventable by vaccine.
Although the Hepatitis A vaccine is not required for school admission as many other vaccines are, UCF Health’s Dr. Vishwas Vanar believes it should be.
