Exercise Now or Pay Later
Staying physically fit during middle age has been linked to reduced chances of developing dementia later in life. Dementia is the inability to process thought. This deterioration is significantly greater than what is typically experienced during the normal aging process, and can result in Alzheimer’s disease.
Even if you don’t have time to visit the gym, you can make daily adjustments to your routine to stay more physically fit. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Choose the parking space farthest from the door. As you shop, walk rapidly through the stores rather than stroll. If you integrate as much activity into your daily life as possible now, you’ll be thankful later.
