At UCF Health, we know that staying socially and physically active is just as important as your medical check-ups when it comes to healthy aging. To support our patients in their wellness journey, we are proud to release our new Senior Community Resource Guide

This flyer was created by Joshua Culberson (UCF College of Medicine, Class of 2026) as part of a project to improve geriatric outreach in the Orlando area.

Why Active Aging Matters

Research shows that seniors who participate in regular physical activity and social gatherings experience better cognitive health, improved mobility, and a higher quality of life. Whether you are looking for high-intensity fitness or a casual social hour, this guide highlights accessible opportunities right in your neighborhood.

What You’ll Find in the Guide:

The resource guide categorizes local events to help you find exactly what you need to stay engaged, whether it’s Fitness & Wellness, Social Connection, Outdoor Activities, or Lifelong Learning. Plus, discover exclusive benefits for Orlando residents aged 55 and older, including complimentary access to city fitness facilities.
