UCF Health has grown its primary care services with the addition of Laura Fontanez, MSN, FNP-BC, at the East Orlando office, located by the University of Central Florida’s main campus.
Laura Fontanez is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. In her role at UCF Health, she provides acute care and helps patients with chronic conditions manage their health. Fontanez has more than 25 years of experience in nursing and has worked in a variety of areas of medicine, including family medicine, surgery, women’s health, and student health. She enjoys optimizing the care of patients by using evidence-based medicine and educating patients about how to take care of themselves.
