Biography

Sendy Mora, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner working with UCF Health Faculty Practice primary care physicians. Her goal is to positively impact patients’ lives by delivering holistic, evidence-based and patient-centered care. 

Education

Sendy received her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Duke University School of Nursing. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Queens University of Charlotte.

Background

Sendy has an extensive background in patient care. Before coming to UCF Health Faculty Physician Practice, she served as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner at Emergency Physicians of Florida, caring for patients at Orlando Health, a Level 1 Trauma Center, at Orlando Health’s Randal Park Free-Standing Emergency Department, and as a Nurse Practitioner for Internal Medicine at Heart of Florida Physicians Group. Previously, she served as a registered nurse at Florida Hospital’s (now Advent Health’s) Free-Standing Emergency Department in Winter Garden, and in a variety of roles at Carolinas Medical Center. She is a certified Spanish medical interpreter. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing.
