Biography
Dr. Nneamaka Ukatu is a board-eligible dermatologist specializing in skin of color, atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and hair disorders. She brings a comprehensive approach to dermatologic care, combining clinical expertise with a dedication to serving diverse patient populations.
As a physician at UCF Health, Dr. Ukatu is committed to providing exceptional dermatologic care to the Central Florida community. Her special interests include addressing the unique dermatologic needs of patients with skin of color and managing complex conditions such as atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and hair disorders.
Education
Dr. Ukatu earned her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with a concentration in Graphic Design from SUNY Binghamton University in Binghamton, NY. She went on to receive her medical degree from New York Medical College in Westchester, NY, where she was one of only three graduates in her class inducted into both the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism honor societies.
She completed her internship year at Northwell Staten Island University in Staten Island, NY, where she was selected by her department leadership as Intern of the Year. Dr. Ukatu completed her dermatology residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.
Background
A native of New York City, Dr. Ukatu is excited to explore the Orlando area and become an active member of the Central Florida community. Outside of her clinical practice, she enjoys cooking, spending time with family, and reading.
