Charles Giangarra, MD
Dr. Charles Giangarra is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. He specializes in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle.
Dr. Giangarra earned his medical degree from the State University of New York, Downstate College of Medicine. He then completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine’s hospital, Montefiore Medical Center. His fellowship in highly advanced Sports Medicine training was completed at the renowned Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles.
Dr. Giangarra has served as an orthopaedic consultant and physician to Stanford University, The San Francisco Giants, New Orleans Saints summer campus and the U.S. Olympic team. He then went on to practice at Marshall Orthopaedics in 2004 and now UCF Health. He specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries and is dedicated to keeping patients active and healthy.
He has earned a certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, and U.S. Olympic Team Physicians Society.
